We have an immediate need to hire a Sr. Consulting Engineer to work in our client’s Professional Services Organization.

You will provide technical services to Federal Customers on complex projects and lead internal initiatives, when required.

You are a highly skilled professionals who has at least 8years of practical industry experience as an individual contributor and active CCIE.


  • Provide technical services in the form of design, assessment, analysis, and troubleshooting of IP-driven networks, systems and applications.
  • Serve as a project lead on technical deployments and customer engagements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to Manager, Sr. Manager or Director Professional Services Delivery and sales in the form of developing Level of Efforts (LOE’s), providing presentations to clients and serving as a technical expert in client meetings.
  • Develop additional technical and professional skills through career-track curriculum and self-learning experiences.
  • Provide support and leadership on internal Professional Services initiatives such as process improvement, best practices, and research.
  • Contribution to Professional Services objectives for revenue attainment.
  • Help identify and gain client commitment for billed work opportunities throughout the year. Seek at least 70% billable time per month.
  • Support Manager, Sr. Manager or Director Professional Services Delivery in a pre-sales capacity to help sell Professional Services through new sales, add-on sales and lead generation.


  • Active CCIE certification (lab and written) required; expertise in Voice preferred
  • A Bachelor Degree and 8 years of experience or a minimum of 10 years equivalent industry experience in one of the following technical fields: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated outstanding and consistent technical skills in one of the following areas of Professional Services core competency: voice over IP, TCP/IP internetworking, network security, wireless, and telecommunications.
  • In addition to educational degrees, this position requires a minimum of two industry recognized certifications (examples – CCDP, CCVP, CCSP, SCNA, Master ASE, CSE, NCSA, MCSE, VCP or equivalent). Candidates holding one certification at time of hire will have 120 days to obtain their second certification.
  • This position demonstrates strong demonstrated written and oral communications skills. The candidate in this position must have demonstrated successes in a collaborative and partnering with clients. Candidate must demonstrate ability to listen critically, think quantitatively, and develop solutions to client business issues. Candidate must have a strong understanding of business fundamentals in accounting and finance, project management, and management.
  • Candidate must have business expertise in at least one industry segment.
  • Must have high-energy work ethic and be available to work non-standard hours during peak season times.
