Overview:

Our Richmond client has an immediate need for a Database Administrator to join their team in the stable healthcare industry.

Their role is to assist with the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for assisting with developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administration and maintenance
  • Develop and implement monitoring plan
  • Analyze monitoring data
  • Manage backup and recovery both on-site and off-site
  • Provide Client Services

Qualifications

The candidate must have clear and effective verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be self-motivated and possess strong organizational and problem solving skills.
