A fast growing cloud computing company is seeking a System Administrator to join their technical team. The System Administrator will be required to provide tier-2 technical support for Microsoft Desktop and Server OS, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware, printers, basic networking, and a number of hosted applications. The System Administrator will also be focused on Microsoft product development and customer installations.


  • Provide tier-2 support for Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, virtualization technologies and other customer specific applications.
  • Research, document, and implement enterprise best practices for the Microsoft Server environment.
  • Work directly with Project Managers to on-board new customers.
  • Ensure that customer systems are available and performing within their Service Level Agreement, while identifying problems and acting appropriately to resolve issues when they occur.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation which will be used by both end-users and technical staff.
  • Research new products or procedures which help the company become more efficient and profitable.
  • Must be willing to learn VMware’s vSphere, Citrix, and Cisco VoIP. Prior knowledge or experience with any of these is a plus.


  • A four year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent education through actual work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Server 2003/Server 2008, Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, and basic networking is required.
  • Experience with Terminal Services, Citrix, or VMware is a big plus.
  • Microsoft Certifications are a big plus.
