Capital TechSearch is seeking a senior Vulnerability Management (VM) professional to join a team responsible for securing a global Fortune 100 organization. You will be responsible for conveying a clear message regarding critical programs that enable threat management by assessing risk, identifying mitigations, and ensuring necessary actions are documented and implemented.

The Vulnerability Management team is responsible for creating and enhancing a broad range of cyber security related applications as a pivotal part of the global information security strategy. This is a position for those interested in pursuing a career in the realm of cyber security on a global scale.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage vulnerability management work streams
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop recommendations and solutions to reported issues
  • Create VM guidance for aligned organizations
  • Support the development of VM systems, initiatives, integration, and technical assessment support
  • Support the development and refinement of global information security technical standards, guidelines, and training
  • Work individually and as part of a team to manage global vendor contracts that enable the VM program
  • Research VM trends and identify and provide methods for integration into existing work streams.
  • Support analysis of multiple security technologies to provide a systematic approach to the VM program for detection, assessment, response and mitigation of critical vulnerabilities
  • Assess the risk posture of assets
  • Create, modify, and enhance automated remediation and assessment workflows
  • Prepare and present briefings on VM requirements and needs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, Systems Administration, Pentest Assessments, Red Team Assessments
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: information security, computer science
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, applied information technology or related subject matter
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Software design, debugging, testing and documentation skills
  • Strong understanding of information security and tactics
  • Ability to work independently in unstructured situations with little oversight
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 5%
  • Eligible to work in the USA
