Process Improvement Engineer – TS/SCI

Capital TechSearch is supporting an Intelligence Community (IC) client in their mission to deliver world-class geospatial intelligence services to policymakers, war-fighters, intelligence professionals and first responders.


JOB DESCRIPTION
Applies process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and best practice principles to design and implement process modernization and improvements.
Assists with analysis, evaluation, and assessment leading to development of recommendations for system and process improvements, optimization, development, and/or operations sustainment efforts for IT systems, software, and processes.
Coordinates and manages analysis evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of programs, systems specifications, and quality standards.
Establishes performance measures, monitors and analyzes performance metrics to identify and implement performance based improvements.
Duties include support the creation of plans that meet the needs of the HD leadership for all technology development and operational and maintenance actions, hardware and software management and document process according to the government POCs in clear terms and provide a visual display of the process for leadership, using Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint. Supports IA’s web presence on all networks and provides Knowledge Management (KM) expertise to improve IA’s business processes.
Works closely with senior engineers/specialists or task leads. Interface with HD program managers and office to support the creation of plans that meet the process improvement needs of the HD leadership for all technology development and operational and maintenance actions, hardware and software management. Qualifications


DESIRED CORE SKILLS:
Demonstrated experience applying knowledge management, business intelligence, process improvement, reengineering methodologies or best practice principles to design and implement process modernization and improvements.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading activities of engineers/specialists related to technology needs.
Demonstrated experience in using web-based technologies such as browsers, Coldfusion, ASP pages, HTML code, object-oriented technology, graphics software, and content management systems.



PREFERABLE SECONDARY SKILLS:
Demonstrated experience in understanding of technology requirements specific to international affairs and IC coordination.
Demonstrated experience with Imagery Disclosure Tool (IDT), Request Action Tracker (RAT), or SharePoint custom workflows.
