Capital TechSearch has a four-pronged approach to its business:

1. Our proprietary methodology – All steps in our patent-pending methodology are captured and managed in our Applicant Tracking System which ensures that we have appropriate support documentation for our clients for each step in our process. Through the use of this methodology, and the technology that supports it, we have been able to help many of our clients build world-class IT organizations.

2. A strong focus on treating our employees and contractors well – In a time of layoffs and cutting back on company benefits, we’re going in the other direction. Capital TechSearch made aggressive moves to help the Southeast retain and attract top IT professionals by offering new, industry-leading benefits. This program provides 401(k) company match from day one and a major medical PPO to all full time employees. And these benefits are so good everyone from the head of the company to on-site consultants is offered the same plans.

3. Our strong commitment to the Richmond community – We believe that all companies have a moral obligation to be a strong member of the community. We commit 7.5% of our net income to community organizations. The more successful we are, the more we give.

4. Looking forward to embrace new ways to reach our audiences – In early 2009, my book, “15 Bedtime Stories That Keep Entrepreneurs Awake At Night,” will be published. Aimed squarely at the new entrepreneur, “15 Bedtime Stories” contains my own experiences as an entrepreneur and these stories illustrate the importance of hiring the right attorneys and CPA’s, dealing with human resource issues and the importance of philanthropy.
