Job Description

Capital TechSearch is hiring 100% Remote (US only) Senior Ansible Sys Admin.

U.S. Citizen or Green card is required for the position. Candidate must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, troubleshoot and execute Ansible playbooks using Ansible Automation Platform throughout the enterprise.

• Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities to both Ansible Tower and Ansible Automation Platform systems.

• Manage, track, report, process and assign support tickets or change requests daily.

• Attend change, problem management, AAR and other review boards as required.

• Monitors system health and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate problems/issues in a timely manner.

• Monitor incident trends and coordinate process improvement proactive resolution processes.

• Develop, implement and enforce process and SOP’s for O&M and incident response.

• Present incident debriefs and root cause analysis reports to executive management.

• Be a customer advocate by consistently meeting, exceeding expectations and incorporating customer service into all aspects of work.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience In lieu of degree, 4 years of demonstrated experience in a related field

• 8+ years of progressive operations experience into an enterprise setting, including demonstrated O&M experience (advanced troubleshooting, patching, hardening, etc.).

• 8+ years of progressive Linux expertise leading to RHEL7 & 8 required.

• Expert knowledge of Ansible Automation Platform with the ability to manage, maintain and support customers with playbooks.

• 5+ years infrastructure and Linux/Unix based application support experience.

• Must successfully pass a Federal Background Investigation
